JEB BUSH ENDORSES JOE NEGRON FOR THE FLORIDA SENATE

Stuart - Today former Governor Jeb Bush announced his endorsement of Joe Negron in the special election for State Senate District 28.

“For six years I worked with Joe Negron when he was a leader in the Florida House of Representatives,” Bush said. “I know Joe has the experience and temperament needed to help solve the problems that are facing our great state. Joe is a true conservative and has my complete support.”

Joe Negron is running to finish the term of Senator Ken Pruitt (R-Port St. Lucie) who is retiring from the Florida Senate this year.

Joe Negron served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2000 to 2006, the last two years as Chairman of the Appropriations Committee. Joe is an attorney with the statewide law firm of Akerman Senterfitt. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Martin County Chapter of the American Red Cross and presently is Chairman of the Safe Florida Foundation. Joe and his wife Rebecca live in Stuart and have three children.

State Senate District 28 consists of Martin, and parts of Indian River, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie counties.
